So... I don't know if I've ever brought this up, but I've always found it a bit funny that some people think "But they've never even met!" as the ultimate ship-sinker. I mean, there are a lot worse ships out there--they HAVE met and nearly every interaction they've had proves how they're just not right for each other. How are ships with characters who hate each other's guts or are such opposites they can hardly get along or those with conflicting morals/principles or those who are outright trying to kill each other considered "valid" and this one isn't? Those are ships that suffer from evidence of absence--the relationship has been explored, and it just won't work with them as lovers.
Whereas JonxDany merely suffer from absence of evidence... they haven't met yet and we don't know how they'll interact... but who knows just how wonderful they can be together when they finally do meet?  It seems a little random, but considering the parallels, one can't help but hope for it.EDIT: Article on Kit Harington: Quote:
