I loved when he stopped her from pushing Joffrey too It really showed that he wanted to protect her as he could

IA. I've seen comments about he how he didn't do enough. But he saved her from death at least a couple of times. And multiple beatings. Also he would have been put to death if it became too obvious he was helping Sansa.
I watched 2.01 where he saves her from Joffrey by backing her up on the name day superstition. He does the same thing in the books. But it's interesting b/c in the books Sansa isn't even sure if it's a true thing that she's said, or something she came up with to save Ser Dontos. __________________

Sandor knew how things worked in court, so he tried his best to protect her without being too obvious (specially since he knew Joffrey very well)

I loved their scenes in 2.06 and 2.07. I think that might be why I'm going through S2 so slowly. I know it's over soon for them.
I'm so confused by the "flowering" scenes in 2.07. I guess he's the one that told Cersei but why? And why did he end up in Sansa's room like that in the first place? __________________

I thought people were exaggerating how confusing it was. And I'd understand once I watched it. But it's even more confusing to me. And it gets held against Sandor by some fans.
Anyways, I rewatched Blackwater, and I loved the bed chamber scene. It's very different from the books, but I think that was for the best. I loved Sandor's speech about killers. And the "You won't hurt me" exchange. Like Dany/Drogo I think this is why I was so slow with S2. I didn't want to let go of my OTP. __________________

Makes sense to try to prolong for as long as possible when we know something is coming to an end

Exactly, but I do have Brienne/Jaime to look forward to. And I'm going to enjoy Sandor and Sansa's individual journeys.

I love this observation:
Source And having binged the second half of the show in the past month. I'm so disappointed with how they got treated. It's not even the lack of reunion, but the show seems to be almost trying to erase them. There were a handful of situations where they could have mentioned the other, but they don't. __________________
