Oooh we're almost done with this thread! We should choose a title for the next one soon

Here are the suggestions we have so far:

• Get her a dog, she'll be happier for it - Robert
• Because he is no true knight but he saved her all the same
• Sandor has a soft spot for Sansa Stark & is quick to protect her from Joffrey's cruel whims -HBO

Wouldn't mind adding:

• His affection for Sansa is obvious. “I didn’t do it for you” he tells Tyrion -AVClub

I love the AVClub one the best although all the title ideas are perfect

Ugh yes, I fast forward to the part where Sandor arrives. It was hard enough watching it once...
I heard Sophie is allergic to horses so that may be why they changed it from the book but man, did it have to be a near rape scene? After everything Sansa's gone through, to add even more on top of that sucks.


So far the scene that we didn't get is when the two of them meet in the Serpentine. Which is a great scene *shakes fist*

Yeah, I think they could've kept it similar enough to the books where Sandor saves her from being beaten. I suppose they probably wanted to make it extreme so that people would start seeing Sandor as sort of heroic.

I don't know how I missed this, the dirty look Sandor gives Joffrey after he snaps at Sansa


He hates him so much and that his job is to PROTECT the little bastard must be loathsome for him

Having to deal with Joffrey's cruelty must be bringing back a lot of dark memories for him, which could explain why he's constantly drunk and an emotional mess.
