I was watching Canterbury's Law and Ruben was a guest star there..when I saw him I was like "Hey, that's Capt. Montgomery!" and my sister asked "Who's that?"..."He's Beckett's boss..I mean former boss"..."Oh yeah, I knew it. He looks familiar"

I'm so shocked to find out that he didn't make it..I thought he gonna live/survive. I like him..he got that serious type of thing as a boss but also has some sense of humor..esp when it comes to Caskett...he's such a cool boss.

RIP Capt. Roy Montgomery.

I still wish they had done the whole faking his death thing. I am not looking forward to his office being occupied by someone else.

We're all going to miss him He wasn't only a cool boss, but a cool person altogether. Yesterday they aired Knockout here and I cried like a baby. Again

Whenever I think about the new season without him, it just makes me sad.

I know..this new season will be different without him.
When I saw the new promo pic of the cast for this season without him but with the new boss..it made me sad.

Besides, I'm sure I won't like the new one.
Maybe by the end of the season when she learned to be a team player, but definitely not now, and she will never be able to replace Montgomery.

Montgomery was one of a kind. I think I'll grow to like the new captain eventually, but she'll never be one their own, not a part of the 12th I fell in love with.

Well, hopefully she won't play a b*tch boss and eventually support the Caskett like Montgomery.

Maybe at some point.
First she'll have to figure out that working with those people is only possible, if she isn't there enemy and works much better, when they don't hate.

True. They'll all have to adjust, but I think they'll get along just fine once they learn to work together.

Well, you always have to adjust to changes like that, especially after events like that. But the team won't be the ones causing problems here.


The last two episodes I watched? I just couldn't help and think that we won't have Montgomery anymore, helping as well.

I literally sighed out loud when I read the acknowledgement for Heat Rises. I love that they keep thinking of Ruben as one of their own

And you know, I'm glad we didn't lose Montgomery, because Ruben wanted out, but because the writters took the character from us. And at least it was a very good way.
