I don't think they even know I thought it was the 17th then everyone started saying the 12th and then it was said by Friday we would know and now they're saying Tuesday, wish they would just tell Castle fans whats going on already not sure if this putting it off is a good or bad thing but I am still hoping for the best .

^Me too I'd put money on them already have decided on the season 9 along with them not saying anything until Tuesday (after the season finale so we'd probably find out through that)

^^Exactly. If they hadn't fired Stana or at least let it get out so quick we probably would have a season 9 (probably without Beckett though so not sure how long or good it would've been). Sometimes companies make not so smart moves but then try to cover at least we get a better ending, I hope.

Well I think a lot of it had to do with Paul lee he would've been fine running castle for years even if it didn't have Beckett but the new Boss was actually around when Castle was launched and was apart of it getting the green light to have a pilot so she knew the dynamics of what makes this show runs and most likely saw that endeavor without SK would be fruitless and cost the company more than it was worth

True. So the guy they let go started this mess and the new boss continued it until the back lash and cut it off to get rid of the mess.
