I think it's because Rob Bowman's an EP/Director for the show. He was also pivotal for some of the best episodes of the X-Files and, if memory serves correct, also directed the first X-Files movie, Fight the Future. I just hope Bowman was in the camp to get Mulder and Scully together sooner rather than the season when Duchovny decided to call it quits. Because I'd be heartbroken if Nathan takes off and leaves Stana to finish of the last few seasons by herself.

No kidding. You know what irked me most with the x-files though? It was that after all that UST, the eye sex, and the fabulous moments, we find out (after the fact) that M & S got together WITHOUT us seeing it. I felt so cheated!

So now when I invest in a ship, my biggest fear is not that they never get together, it's that it happens but we don't get to see it!

a hug would have been so sweet. but the forced handshake fit well to how insecure they were. so reluctant it was painful to watch.
