It definitely needed to be kept in, but maybe they're planning to place it in the second film, though I think it would've left more of a cliff hanger for the fans

^ Yeah even tho I have some non-book reading viewers that they tho that it was all about her own decision, but why it always come back to Peeta and I was like can't answer since I was like read a book..

I do that allot, I know a couple of people who haven't read the book, so they'll ask me what this meant or what happened there, and I'll just look at them and say, "you should have read the book"

Yeah exactly Or in my boyfriend's case, the same group of us see these movies and he's the only one that hasn't read the books. So I have to spend the whole movie informing him of what's going on then when I do, he's like 'OH THAT'S AMAZING I LOVE THAT'

Yeah for real plus both of my brothers and some of friends told me that the last movie was boring even tho one of my brother went fell asleep on it..

I loved hearing everyone's reaction when we saw the third installment, there were allot of people in the audience confused, especially on the choking scene, but I heard allot of bummed out people too when the film ended the way it did

Same here, I have a friend (who didn't read the books), who gate MJ1. He said it was so boring and nothing really happened, it was all about Katniss hanging around D13 and saying Peeta's name over and over again lol. And even if I agreed on the last statement (and I loved it too), I tried to explain things to him from a book reader's point of view but still, he thought the movie was boring

^ My gosh, I'm sure that your friend and my friend def get along since both of them said same thing even tho my friend, he was like why can she shut up about Peeta, who care when things happen around Katniss.. Even tho I try to explain to him about MJ1, but it hard to do that since they do split movie..

Even tho I feel like I prefer book!Katniss in MJ more since I can understand what's she going through even tho they didn't show that much in the movie..

My boyfriend loves THG and he didn't read the books either but still, MJ1 it's his favorite movie of all three so far...
I explained some extra details (from the book) to him but he said that even without knowing them he enjoyed the story a lot! Smart guy

I guess that they needed to make movie-Katniss that sad and hopeless in order to express her state of mind we got to know through her thoughts in the book. They didn't show that much in the movie it's true, but Jen was so good at playing Katniss' fear and confusion, that people like my boyfriend could understand her well anyway. Just looking at her restless eyes I could feel her emotions and all thanks to Jen!

Mine is always just like "what's going on?" and I'm like..."did you like it?" "Yeah I guess?" Then two days later he'll say he loved it, and two days after that say he didn't like it. He's difficult

Anyway it's true though, the Katniss in book form was easier to understand since it's from her POV, but Jennifer is doing such a great job in the movies that I could really get a similar story just from her facial features alone.
