I agree, great casting for Pres. Snow. I also love the fact that Donald Sutherland was a big fan of the series.

I love that he sees a strong political message in the Franchise and it motivated him to want to be apart of the project. "To inspire the next generation," as he said.

He talks about his desire to be in the film around 2:20:

I didn't realize it either but he has done many films. Do you have a favorite role of his outside of THG? I enjoyed him in the Italian Job and he pulls off period piece quite well.

Oh man, I remember that movie and I forget that he was in Horrible Boss til I watch it again, but I didn't know that he was in Space Cowboys..

He pops up all over the place!

He has said he is really picking about what parts he is in. They have to be" meaningful and add to the world". I respect that approach.
