Heyhey... long time no see. I was wondering whether you can recommend me something new... I read the descriptions and often they don't sound very appealing to me but when someone tells me something's good I usually give it a go.
I read Matched - and liked it fine although I didn't like the ending. I read the Chemical Garden books - and liked them alright. I read the Incarceron books - and loved them. I read The Selection - and wasn't impressed. So... thanks in advance. __________________

I would say try Divergent and if you like short stories try the book
Shards & Ashes which is edited by Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong. It is all original dystopian stories (non-connected to books) I have read all but one or two and all of them were really good that I have read. I am reading Clockwork Princess. I haven't feeling well so its going slow and I am trying to savior it too. Sadly I am having to stay away from the TMI board until I get to finish it. Has anyone on here read the Parasol Protectorate books? They are adult steampunk but I've heard good things and they have a companion series in the same world that is YA. -Pammie __________________

I have read the first one. It was okay, but I know others who adore the books.
I just read the Unravelling novella. Has anyone read Unravelling by Elizabeth Norris? |

I fourth the Divergent rec! I also loved Legend by Marie Lu.
Jen - I've read Unraveling and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the 2nd one. Is the pilot still happening? Pammie - I haven't read them, but I've heard good things about them __________________

Belle, I haven't heard anything new. You should check out Ben's novella "Undone" .
One part is before her met her. One part is when he saved her. And the other is when he and Eli arrived home to discover things are not as he thought they would be. |

Thanks so much for the recommendations, guys. "Divergent" it is then. I'll check that out and report back.
I am fond of short stories, so I'll give "Shards & Ashes" a go. "The Host" – is that the Twilight successor? __________________

Its Stephenie's other book, if that's what you mean.
