It's the middle of July and it's not cold enough here.

So, do you guys think we'll actually get to see Elena and Caroline's reaction to Bonnie's death?

I don't think we'll see as much crying as her memorial but I think we'll see more of a reaction in terms of missing her than season 5 because she'll be gone for longer. Elena will obviously mention Damon and if they don't mention Bonnie they'd look horrible.

They lost Bonnie again and i think this time will be harder. Especially for Elena since she lost Damon, too. It will be so hard for them both but I don't know whether it keeps them together much more.

I was thinking the same, that we wouldn't see them crying, but I'd like to see them missing her and having a real believable reaction to not having Bonnie around, because the three of them have been together since they were children. I don't know either if Bonnie's absence will make Caroline and Elena closer or if it will pull them apart more. I think both scenarios can be believable.

Agreed. I want it to make them closer but i can't see this happening. I think Elena will focus on Damon's death more than Bonnie's. I think they will suffer in a different way.

I think Elena will be the one trying to move on the most.

^ I feel the same. We're expecting Elena to fall apart after that finale but they harped on too much over how toxic DE is so I think we'll see Elena pulling herself together and finding herself again without Damon around.

That way she'll be able to end it with him for good when he comes back or they'll be able to give it another shot after Damon comes back and finally changes so that they're healthier. Elena has been so consumed with Damon that the break will do her good.

Exactly! I don't know what their plans for DE is, but I can't see them ever being endgame with the way the have been portraying them. So it's possible that your scenario might play out. It would also allow them to explore SE again if they want to.

If they ever explore SE again they'll need a 100 year time jump for me to buy it. SE are too boring for me so I don't want to see them again. I think Elena loves Damon more than she loved Stefan and I can't see how they can go back to SE convincingly.

I think Defan are going to be endgame and DES end up single at the end.
