Perhaps the premiere would have jelled more if they hadn’t tried to establish so many potential story lines or had connected the first hour to the second hour. Now that I think about it The Cape would have made a good movie of the week. That is of course if the second hour was a continuation of the villain story from the first hour. The good news is that I don’t think the show is a complete failure. The bad news is that while I may not view it as a complete failure I also don’t see myself viewing it in the future either.

Hero of Time

I hope you change your mind and give the show another shot . I had so much fun watching the first 3 episodes, and the pace is flawless in my opinion. I also like that it's neither serialized or a case of the week show so far, there's a bit of both.

I did check out a few more episodes and although they got slightly better it wasn't enough for me to keep tuning in. I would however love to see the superhero genre suceed in television on a level that doesnt begin with teen angst but this isn't the show they are going to convince me with.
