ratings for third episode was 3.8 with a 18-49 rating of less than 1. Not a good sign and the ratings likely won't get any better since it is going up against TWD.

Probably shouldn't expect a second season or even a full first season.

Yep - called it. Once TWD started Blood would sadly take a huge hit. I really dont know what idiot at ABC, decided to put a rookie show directly up against one of the most viewed shows on tv... But maybe that says something about how little faith ABC has in this thing. They have only rented the studio in Park City through December. I asume thats when the standard 13 episodes are shot.
