I would rather Puck not confide to Finn because he should be last person to be confided since Puck would put Finn in compromising position now that Rachel is his girlfriend and her mother happens to be Shelby that Puck is considered to be involved romantically. So Finn would be torn about telling her or not because Puck is his best friend as well so he's better off in dark.
