Even still we should get more Finn & Will scenes. I think it would be great if this season whiles Finn is figuring himself out he could talk to Will about what he is feeling and what he wants to do.

Yeah, but mostly because Will is Finn's cautionary tale just as, in many ways, Shelby is Rachel's cautionary tale. I can see him being one of the people pushing Finn not to settle, not to dream small, but to dream big and get out out of Lima

Will could be a father figure. He was the first father figure he had sorta before Burt came along. He was there for Finn about the baby.
