{April 19th} 3x19 "Heart of Darkness"
TYLER RETURNS TO MYSTIC FALLS — Elena and Damon set off together to make sure Jeremy is safe in Denver, and to see if his special abilities can help reveal the information they need about ancient vampire bloodlines. It doesn’t take them long to learn that Jeremy has been hanging with the wrong people. Stefan and Klaus both go to brutal extremes in their search for the missing weapon. Caroline is thrilled when Tyler returns to town, but Tyler soon suspects that something has been going on between Caroline and Klaus. Matt has his hands full trying to keep Rebekah busy organizing the school’s upcoming 1920s Decade Dance.

{April 26th} 3x20 "Do Not Go Gentle"
WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER — Alaric (Matt Davis) finds an unexpected ally to guide him on his dangerous new path, while Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) try to figure out what their next move should be. At the school’s 1920s Decade Dance, Bonnie (Kat Graham) asks Jamie (guest star Robert Ri’chard) to go with her and, at Caroline’s (Candice Accola) suggestion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) to be her date. Caroline is pleasantly surprised when Tyler (Michael Trevino) shows up at the dance determined to sweep her off her feet, but Klaus (Joseph Morgan) does his best to come between them. The dance takes a deadly turn when Damon and Stefan realize they need the help of Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and especially Bonnie to undo a spell that could prove devastating for everyone.

{May 3rd} 3x21 "Before Sunset"
A DAY WITHOUT A VAMPIRE — Klaus acts on his intentions to leave town with Elena (Nina Dobrev), but finds resistance from a surprising new enemy. Bonnie (Kat Graham) calls on Abby (guest star Persia White) to help her with a difficult spell. As events spiral out of control, Elena is determined to protect Caroline (Candice Accola), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) enlist Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) help, while Bonnie and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) take a terrifying risk to make sure her spell is effective. Damon and Stefan have a surprisingly candid conversation about the future.

Or even that freaky contengant who ships both at the same time.

The problem is I don't just hate D/E because it gets in the way of S/E--I hate it because it's wrong on so many levels. They're incompatible, they're borderline abusive(on BOTH sides, not just Damon), they have zero respect for each other--it just makes my skin crawl. I wouldn't want them together even if Stefan didn't exist.

Yeah--even less chance of that happening there. I just channeled all my emotion into unrestrained hate and blind faith.

I actually hate this triangle less than I hated that one--it's just that it upsets me so much that history is repeating itself here.

What could they possibly mean by that? Back in S1 Damon was he villian causing trouble, and SE were in love .
Unless they are talking about the pilot.. which was when.. um.. I don't know

Like I said--I think Damon's going to make Elena's 'choice' easy by doing something horrible between now and the finale. He'll go back to being the 'villain' for next season(though probably a more sympathetic one), while S/E try to start their relationship over. Status quo restored.

Yeah, I'm being a little too hopeful--just a bundle of sunshine, that's me. But wouldn't it be nice if I'm right? Wouldn't it?
