My little brother accidently uninstalled the Volume control program on Windows XP (you know, the little gray circle icon on the taskbar. When you click on it, you can adjust the volume to your liking)

I want to re-install it but I dont know how. I thought of putting in the Windows XP cd that I have but it says that the CD is only for re-installing of the OS.

I just go down to the task bar and right click on <Properties><Customize><Volume> and it should provide a drop down menu that you can choose <always show>. That's what my XP is like. I hope that helped [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Yeah..I had already tried that though. Normally, that would work but in this case, since that particular feature has been uninstalled and completely removed from the system, it won't work. thanks for replying anyways
