So the teasers go inside before the images or do they go outside the cut?

Also, check if there's a comm for the style of layout your using. Trust me, other people always have the same questions we do and get them answered. I've found a bunch of tricks just reading other people's comments. :)

Thanks for offering, but I figured it out, I just changed it to S1 and it (surprisingly) made it a lot easier for me. Thanks again though! :)

Anythin inside the cut will be on the new page when you click and will not show up on, say, the entry in your journal or in a community. The way I would do it owuld be to put the teasers, then put the cut underneath that. So it wouldbe teasers and then the cut link, which would take you to the new page with the rest of the icons you made.

Does that many sense?

Glad it worked out for ya Tasha. It looks really pretty. I'm using a Naley header too. Love them! :)

dancingphalange 07-21-2006 11:47 AM

Another quick question. How can you put that link on ff??

kaykayelle 07-21-2006 08:28 PM

The link to the page with all the icons? Make the cut, click on the link, and then copy and paste the URL in the address bar for that page- use that for the link.

Ok, this will sound a bit stupid but I have a filter on my friends list to keep communities separate from personal journals. Thing is I can't remember how I did it, and now I can't find the information on how to do it at LJ. Is it just a case of creating the Custom Friends Group then copying the URL and adding it to my Links List? Or is there a "proper" way to do it :look:

How do I remove something from my memories? Let's say I have (which I do) a couple of entries by others saved as memories but now don't want them marked as memories no more?

-Kelly- 08-13-2006 10:34 PM

^ You just take the words out of that entry, only in the memories part :)

I've found a s1 style i really love but I prefer the benifits of s2 layers.

I really like how my layers shows up when you link to one entry and I'd like to keep that. Is there any way to adjust a css style for s2 to accept it?

Lolabelle26 08-14-2006 05:32 PM

Okay, so I am really technology impaired so please don't laugh at the stupidity of my questions. :D
1. Can banners me used as headers / are they the same thing?
2. If so, how do you add them?
Edited because I found the answer to one somewhere else.
Thanks again.

kaykayelle 08-14-2006 06:48 PM

I don't know how to add a banner, but yes, a banner and a header are the same thing, so long as your talking about a picture and not text or something. Try googling it.

Yes, thank you so much! I just wanted to make sure so that I don't get in trouble or make anyone mad. :) Thanks again, Google away!
