html help

Can anyone help me? I need help making a link open in a different frame. My website has a frame on the left and a frame on the right, and I need to be able to click a link on the right and have it open on the left. I thought I knew how, but I was wrong.

Hey there!

Hum...I was thinking maybe the <a href=...</a> so on and so forth. Is that what you've been using?

I know! I know!
When you make your index.html file or whatever u name it, all you have to do is this, name each one of your frames. For example:

Quote:
<frame name="menu" src="menu.html" scrolling="no" noresize>

<frame name="main" src="main.html" scrolling="auto" noresize>
So, now, both frames are named. Let's just say one is called left and the other is right. Now, if you have a link on the left which you want to open in the right frame, this is the code you use:

Quote:
<a href="yurpage.html" target="right">bla bla bla</a>
Got it? Hope I was clear.
