Help converting tivo recordings to other formats
Hello everyone! Ijust got a Tivo and transferred a show to my computer. I want to know how to convert to a file type where I can edit it in windows movie maker. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What file does Tivo use? like w.m.m (w.m.v file)

I think it's mpeg 2, but it has encryptions. I have figured out how to decode it, and it turns it into a movie file. It will play sound in WMM then, but not the pictures.

Can you use mpeg 1 file? that should upload to the wmm program
 I know mpeg 2 didn't upload for me with my programs  it's weird__________________
