Are there any?

I think I may have a virus.. I don't know.

Everything I save something -- for example my sig -- i save it and then when I go back the previous sig is there and not the one I just typed in. I refresh and it doesn't seem to help.

Also, my computer is being slow. It doesn't speed up when a page loads.

So, are there any programs so I could check to see if I have a virus?

Try to clear your temp files to see if the page reloads correctly. That kind of problem is caused by the browser and rarely by some virus.
As for your computer being slow, it can be because your don't have a lot of ram memory which get used after a little time you've been using your computer.
You can also defragment the hard drive every once and a while, it speeds up the computer.
As for free antiviruses, you can try AVG which is free, or if you want to be sure try this online virus scan .

ETA: What are temp files?

Oh, I'm refering to the internet temporary files that your browser save so when you re-visit a page it doesn't have to re-download everything again. If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools >> Options >> General and you should see a button to delete them.

yeah i'm using avg and so far it's been awsome. i'd recommend it before norton or mcafee.
