I saw that, too. But! The ratings for the last two episodes have been improving bit by bit and the new promo for the episodes have been saying "Season finale," soo... I'm staying positive.

Maybe Emily's impact will be felt in the second season - should renewal happen. Btw: Watched the Marti/Julian scenes last night. Gosh, they do have some chemistry dont they?

I'm thinking they'll get some focus in the finale, for sure, because Red will be there to support Vanessa during nationals.
And I'm definitely sure that Emily's presence will be felt much more between RV in Season 2. __________________

Am I the only one who thinks that their scenes were cut out in the last couple of episodes? In the last episode there were mentioned in the spoilers but did not show up on the actual show. That was just the weiredest thing ever. I think maybe they thought Jeff was leaving the show when he got his pilot. They just thought oh no need to invest in this couple anymore. What do you guys think because it makes absolutely no sense why they will not have been shown at all.

^ You have a point. And it also makes no sense because they actually brought in a character - his ex - to stir things up.. and yet the R/V romance is practically sidelined?

I guess it doesn't really matter now, since the show was canceled.
I'm really going to miss these two. I was looking forward to what could have been in store for them in season two. |

Can you believe it was then (possibly) the finale for the show and the writers didnt even have Red and Vanessa in a scene together?! Its outrageous! Now we know it was the end and it ended so badly!

I was sure we'd some sort of meaningful scene after she was fired.
But at the same time, I'm sure that would have affected the second season, and their relationship, alot... It's awful that we won't get to see it. __________________
