It means a few things, a lot of them technical complicated software stuff. So maybe it's an Australian thing? Here's the full wiki definition if you're interested.

Just for fun, she could mean:

Widget (beer), a device placed in cans and bottles of beer to aid in the generation of froth
Widget (Marvel Comics), a character in Marvel Comics
Widget, a male or baby gremlin, in the fiction of Roald Dahl
Widget, or blivet, an optical illusion representing an impossible physical object

I like the last one best because Nina is so beautiful she must be an impossible optical illusion
But maybe it's a baby gremlin from the Dahl books because of Nina's personality?

Totally adorable whatever she means. I'm a huge Phoebe fan also, since The Secret Circle. So I love their friendship.

I haven't watched TSC before. Maybe I can find it on DVD and watch it. Is it out on DVD?

No, I don't think it got a DVD release. It's on Netflix and Amazon Instant video though. I'm still upset it was cancelled. But it's still worth a watch. Phoebe is amazing in it, quite different from her character on TVD/TO. I was a fan of the books also and she is exactly how I imagined Faye.

Faye comes across as a bit of a mean girl and often selfish. But she's also really funny. She's very sassy and snarky. So her character is immediately likeable even if she's a mean girl.

Her friendships are important to her though. There are some great girlfriend character moments throughout TSC.
