I think Stefan will be confused because I mean he loved Katherine for like 100 years. But at the same time he did say that what they had wasn't really love so I hope he doesn't.

I think stefan will be confused at some point because katherine can be very persuasive but he really loves elena so i think he will relaise that i hope stefan believes elena and not damon

i think he thought what he felt for Katherine was love until he met Elena and then I feel he realized he was confusing guilt with love. he felt he owed Katherine something and maybe still does. __________________

I think he probably feels alot of guilt toward his part in getting her captured. And whether or not she was in that tomb, the end result was the same: He was responsible for her ever being in that situation.

he probably felt that since there was no closure, he was technically cheating on katherine moving on with Elena.
