Yes. It was reference that Toby and Spencer just drifted apart because their lives were taking them in different directions.

But these two I feel like whatever happened it couldn't of been too messy of a breakup and it was probably mutual. Not many exs with a relationship like that could still stay "friends". Or even want to see each other. Although I did get the impression Hannah didn't really want to see Caleb.

Both are clearly not completely over each other.
