I wasn't a big fan of the Golden Orchid story line in this book. It seemed like Spencer could have had something else going on for an entire book. That whole issue was just a waste of time. What was the point of it? I really don't want either of these story lines to happen in the show but it looks like they are already setting up the Golden Orchid thing.

I also hated the whole love triangle between Hanna, Sean & Aria. I didn't like the girls fighting over him. Hanna was totally hating on Aria the whole book because of it. I didn't like that. They were both better off without Sean. I'm not sure why Sean became Aria's boyfriend - it was so random. Unfortunately I have a feeling they will do the Aria/Sean thing on the show. I am hoping though that they just have Aria move in with Sean temporarily because she can't be at home (because of her mom) instead of them being in a relationship. That would be better. On another note - I didn't like Aria & Ezra in the books but it was kinda ****ty that Sean called the cops on them.

One of my favorite scenes in the book was probably when Melissa, Ian and Spencer were at her field hockey practice and after Melissa left Ian was pretty much flirting with Spencer and she was thinking about how she still got "a hot/excited" feeling when he looked at her. I loved that scene for some reason and their other scenes in the book. I always really liked the idea of Ian & Spencer. He wasn't in the books enough. I wanted to see more of him. I really want him to be Spencer's field hockey coach in the show just like in the books.

I felt so bad for Emily when A passed out the photo of her & Maya kissing to all of the people at the swim meet. That scene sucked. Then it made me so mad that her parents made her get rehab for being gay because they thought it was a sickness. Ugh, that was so dumb.

I Hanna & Lucas!! The hot air balloon ride was beyond adorable. I just love that he was always there for her and cared for her. Like when he took her away from Mona's party after all of that drama. The scene at the college in the library was by far my favorite...the kiss was hot!!

The ending was one of the best book endings in the series. It was amazing. I was so shocked when Hanna got hit by A in the SUV.

I completely agree with the first 2 points you made Kristen.
I hated the Golden Orchid story line so much. It made Spencer's story line so cringe-worthy for me.
I also hated the Aria/Sean story line. I mean, come on. It was pretty pointless imo.

The ending was fantastic though. I totally didn't see Hanna and the SUV coming at all

I'm only about halfway through, but right now I dislike Emily's parents more than Spencer's.

I just read the Hanna/Lucas balloon scene and I love them together

Yeah I pretty much hated Emily's family in the book. But her mom seems decent on the show.

Spencer throwing Melissa down the stairs? I did not expect that

.

You know, I already don't like Ali on the show, but the fact that she had something going on with Ian made me wanna strangle a fictional character even though I expected it.

And I feel so sorry for Hanna. I hope something like that won't happen on the show.

Hanna & Lucas are amazing together. I've actually reread their parts in the book a few times.

Same here. I'm so excited. I hope show Lucas does book Lucas justice.

I like the casting for Lucas so far (even though I pictured him as a blonde), I hope the chemistry between him & Hanna is there.
