I ship Emily and Toby because they’re a really unique pairing. I like how they are able to draw us in and keep us intrigued even with very little screen time. I enjoy how they’re getting to know each other and how their relationship is growing naturally. They care for each other in a very soft, tentative way, yet it feels like they care very deeply; there’s an understanding of each other that they share and no one else does. It’s like their true selves shine through when they’re around each other, selves they can’t show anyone else.

Emily and Toby are mis-understoof, deep, lonely individuals that don't fit in anywhere, yet they fit together perfectly! Thats why I love them! They aren't you're usual popular or cliche couple. There's drama between each in their personal lives, lies and secrets; yet when they come together there's this silent understanding and acceptance. Toby is the only one who gets Emily and Emily dosen't judge Toby. She brings out the best in him and he accepts her. Emily makes Toby smile and he makes her feel like it's ok to be diffrent. "Diffrent is good, I like diffrent." Their story has just begun and, ultimately, it's about the journey. The ability that they have to find courage and strength in one another, will be one of their greatest strengths, because they won't find it elsewhere!

I just adore these two! They’re so cute in their special awkward way. The mysterious vibe to them and their weird-in-a-good-way chemistry had me intrigued from their very first look/scene. They’re two misunderstood people who seem to understand and see through each other so well, and them bonding over music and making each other a CD mix was just beyond adorable.

I've shipped Emily and Toby since their first interaction because I think that they are similar but so different which gives their relationship even more complexity. I can't wait to see more scenes of them getting closer, and finally becoming a couple.

The reason why I love Toby and Emily is because they are different and they understand each other. I love that they are becoming friends first and then possible perusing a relationship together. They have so much chemistry just by talking to each other and they really get each other. The both feel like ‘misfits’ or outcasts and they pretty much bound over that. I’m really excited to see how things progress between them because really there scenes always make me squeal!

They are so cute. I love how that Tody saved her form Ben just because he did not like that he was hurting her. I also love how he wants to know that it ok that he is her chem partner and that she does not have a problem with it I love how Tody and Emily can tlak to each other so easily. I love that they have the same taste in music and they each downloaded a cd for the other one

Ever since I started watching Pretty Little Liars, i've been searching to find my favourite couple. But after episode 3, I was sure Emily/Toby were the cutest. It was because of the mystery behind them both. The fact that she was the one who got him to open up a little bit about himself made me feel like this budding friendship was certainly going to become closer. Then episode 4 happened. The mix CDs and the lab scenes were significantly a symbol of their understandings of each other. They are the misfits!

Why do we love Toby and Emily? Aristotle said soulmates are simply two souls separated in two bodies, and that is what Toby and Emily are. They are both struggling to find acceptance in a town where they obviously feel they don’t fit in. But the funny thing is, they fit together and find a sense of peace together. Like two pieces of a puzzle. Like soulmates.
