I didn't even read the headline of that article, just looked at the picture, but it looks like she named the baby as a tribute to her dad. That's quite nice.

It's a really nice way to name a child. Rather than some of the names other actresses have picked. Gwyneth I'm looking at you.

I agree with you Beth, I really like the brunette look on her. Then again I always seem to choose the brown look of actresses who have been blonde. :shrug:

Yes, she went home to Australia after the first series of "Magic City" was finished in November to spend time with her partner while he worked on his show, and they will shortly be going back to Miami with their little bubba while she films Season 2. :)

So there is a confirmed Season 2 of Magic City then?

Indeed. It makes her the first one to really break into the US market w/regards to a multi episode tv show, and the second to get steady work over here.

Yes, Starz renewed the show before its premiere for a second season.

Unfortunately "Magic City" is not a very good show and Jess's role is rather limited. Hopefully Season 2 will give her a chance to show what she can do.

eta: Necros, afaik, Jess is not on any social sites- not publicly, anyway. There are a couple of fake twitter accounts out there claiming to be her.

Well, it's Starz, so I wouldn't get my hopes up... Though I hadn't seen Boss yet, maybe that's good, or at least watchable. Anyway, people seem to like these shows, so if nothing else, it's good for the actors' popularity, getting their names out there.
