Probably. The old adage of 'sex sells' still holds true.

Now how many episodes are there in a regular season on Starz? I know some networks only do a short season (13 or so episodes).

Necros 05-01-2012 12:50 PM

10 episodes.

I was a little surprised when this article appeared on my national news site. Not so much the story, it's the first time Jessica's ever been mentioned on the site.

It also stars former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko and Jessica Marias, an actress who made her name in her native Austrealia in the TV series Packed to the Rafters.

I'm not surprised by the title. Miami is ripe with it. It's probably got the most surgically enhanced women after LA and NYC...and my guess would be NYC only trumps it based population alone.

It's cool that she got a mention and her picture. Jees, she's skinny. You'd think they'd have rounded her out a bit since the show takes place in the 50s.

Necros 05-05-2012 06:41 AM

I'd say she looks fit, instead of skinny. And not all of the women had the more round shape back then. I don't know why they used her picture though, doesn't fit with the title. I don't mind, but I think anybody who saw her naked in the show can tell.

LOL Necros, I know exactly what you mean. I was tempted to send the author of that article a little correction with side-by-side pics ;)

Anyway, just posting here to let you know Jessica had her baby on Wednesday, a daughter called Scout Edie Stewart. (Not too keen on the name, but I'm sure she is a beautiful little thing :))

That's great about her baby. I can only assume To Kill a Mockingbird is one of her fave books/movies. I find that's the only reason people give their kids Scout (or Atticus, which was the case with a friend of mine).

I've got a Jem and an Atticus in my family. Strangely, no Dills :)

Congratulations to the happy couple. Bet she's a cutie pie!

Burn Our History 05-15-2012 04:53 AM

It seems like the shortest pregnancy ever. :look: Feels like we just heard about not long ago.

sprezzatura 05-16-2012 01:03 PM

Ia . But wasn't she already a couple of months along when it was announced? Also it's not like she was photographed everyday like Jessica Simpson so perhaps that's why it felt shorter.

Necros 05-16-2012 02:11 PM

Most of us knew even less about B's pregnancy, that was an even bigger surprise. :)

I like the name though, but I'm not sure she will too when she goes to school.

serving wench 05-17-2012 11:06 AM

Pic of Jess's baby girl :)

sprezzatura 05-17-2012 12:29 PM

Wow, she's got a full head of hair already.

Burn Our History 05-18-2012 04:14 PM

She certainly does. And she's so tiny. I always say that though, even when the baby is still very young (in this case one week old).

I will say this...I think I prefer Jessica as a brunette. I think it suits her.
