Also the OT3ness near the beginning like where Kahlan get's really annoyed because she can't get reach her glass on water so she has to get up and when she reaches the window Cara and Richard are just sitting on the grass playing all nicey nicey because they want her to get better.

I love that when she gets up and sees them outside her window she gets mad and throws a cup, or when Cara actually bakes

For me, one of the scenes that I've came to like.. well, practically most of their scenes in Extinction.
All was so great!

We now all know that Cara has a love for fish because of that book. I guess the whole fish thing in Broken was a shout out to that.


In the books Cara & Kahlan become great friends from the get go but given that LotS is a tv show they added in the Denee subplot for extra ~drama.

Interesting that they were friends from the start and the added Dennee plotline was added for drama. I do like how they did that cause don't think I would have liked them friends from the start. I like how they had to build to being friends with the whole Dennee thing in the background

Well in the books Kahlan first met them while they were fighting the Imperial Order, the reason they became friends from the get-go was because they were protecting Richard when Richard had sent Kahlan away with the D'Haran army so SHE could be protected towards the end of the book Berdine had been telling Kahlan that Richard had his hands on her breast. Kahlan knew that Berdine and Reina were -together- so Kahlan was like "Oh that's okay Reina' hands look like they'll fit my breasts just fine" which made Berdine choke on the pear she was eating. Cara elbows Richard and tells him that he may keep Kahlan because she likes her Throughout the books the mord'sith try to test their limits with Richard, something that they werent able to do with Darken Rahl without getting punished, so this sort of teasing is a way for them to be themselves

Interesting and coiuld see them being friends cause of them both protecting Richard. But still like the show!storyline, mainly cause haven't read the books

I love that part sfm. I love how Cara is there for Kahlan when Kahlan is having doubts out of fear and Cara is there to set it straight, she's such a good friend. Plus the teasing about Ben I just love them in the books, they're totally BFFS. Or Sisters of the Agiel

I do love the relationship they get in the show though, because we get to watch them grow up and go from being enemies to friends because they learned to trust each other. But I have a soft spot for the books because we get a lot of actual friendships scenes especially in TotW and FotF. I'm sad that Chainfire/Phantom don't have any I miss them.
