I re-watched Princess. I loved that they gave Tab a cracky episode like Mirror in S1. It really showed how versatile as an actress she can be because the situation was nothing like Cara was used to. And even though she she got to play the whole 'regal and posh' side of it, it was still in character with Cara's all "I hate this" looks and just the sheer uncomfortableness she was feeling. I did also like it was that the only two times Cara was in game throughout the whole episode - a side from the fight - was talking about torture and seducing men, very Cara.

My guess was somewhere under 6 years old. If we are to assume she is around the same age as Richard and Kahlan, possibly a bit older, then she's not old enough to have a teenager.

Rahl had no reason to kill the child because it was of no threat to him.

Mord'Sith children, as I would imagine, are not like the children of Confessors, Seekers, or Wizards. They do not gain power from their parents through blood. And since Darken Rahl is not a born wizard, the child would gain to power from him either. I know he was a cruel master but there would be no point in him allowing Cara to carry a child then kill it. If anything, Darken Rahl would have simply ordered it taken care of before it had a chance to be born.

Too, Cara may have been a complete devotee to the Lord Rahl, but I think knowing Darken murdered her child might have snapped something inside of her head. She could have turned on him. I don't think he was willing to risk that.

Good point of why would he allow her to carry, he would have just asked for the kid to be taken of

so think he's lying about killing the kid. So should be brought up again personally

Bio

As a Mord-Sith, Cara was forced to be loyal to the reigning Lord Rahl of D'Hara, Darken Rahl. Rahl expected total obedience of his Mord-Sith, and was known to beat and rape Cara and her "sisters".

In seeing the future of what Darken Rahl became, she betrayed him and joined Richard in orchestrating his death.
Cara now travels with Richard as his protector and bodyguard.
