I think I didn't notice the hand holding until later. But that's all I could think about after that line about how she couldn't remember the last time she said two words to her that weren't 'you' and 'suck'. I was like 'Come on! You were holding hands during LOM!'

Haha yeah, although I'm betting that hand holding/arm linking was way more Dianna/Amber than it was Quinn/Mercedes.
And the protectiveness over each other started in this episode too. When Puck tells Mercedes that he's the father, she tells him not to cause any more problems in Quinn's life, that he at least owes her that much. Whether she was right or not about him speaking up is a different matter, but Mercedes was looking out for Quinn a long time before now and Quinn didn't even know it,

Is tomorrow's episode the one where Quinn gets her groove back?

Oh yeah, it was totally Dianna/Amber. Most of the group numbers like that are mostly just the actors, pretty. But still! And yes, whether people agree with what Mercedes said to Puck, she was totally, 100% Team Quinn, which I loved. She wasn't Team Puck, or Finn, or Finn/Quinn or Puck/Quinn, just Quinn <3.

And nope, that's not for a few episodes.

Yeah, I checked after I typed that. It's not for a little while.

And yeah, I love how Mercedes didn't really care about how Finn or Puck would feel at all, as long as whatever was happening was best for Quinn.

I've been thinking about that too. I'm guessing that we probably won't have anything big, cause unless it has to do with Rachel or Finn in some way, Glee doesn't usually keep the focus on the same person two weeks in a row.
If the focus was on Quinn, we might get something big, but that's very doubtful.

So hopefully we'll just get little background things, or small scenes, even in group settings. Just acknowledging each other would be good for me, tbh. Like a little wave and a 'hey', or something like that.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like either of them has anything too big in this episode, so an actual scene is doubtful, but yeah, any kind of acknowledgment is good.
