It's just different, especially season 5, it just changes so much and it's made me wonder if the show is trying to cancel itself out haha
By the way, there was this series I wanted to watch based on a book called "Delirium" and it was never picked up but apparently they have it on hulu! The pilot is on there and I watched it! __________________

Yep it's called Delirium, it stars Emma Roberts and Daren Kagasoff (he was Ricky in Secret Life of the American Teenager) I'm not much of a fan of Emma Roberts but thought Daren was pretty great.
The show is a dystopian futuristic kind where government has taken control and everyone believes that love is a disease and the only way to be cured is to have an injection (shot) when you turn 18 that makes you not vulnerable to the weak "symptoms" of love yeah I suck at describing but that's kind of what it's all about. __________________

I haven't read the book but I did hear that the pilot episode was everything that happened in the first book crammed into it which is

Well but that's what I heard what they did with PLL, the pilot episode, book readers said that was the first book in the pilot and was like wow really?
but yeah, if that's what they did with Delirium, it was stupid. The problem I had was Emma's character falling for Daren's character wayyyy too soon. This character is supposed to be excited to be getting the cure because she fully believes that love is a disease so you would think that it would take a very lonnng time for her to "crack" and begin believing that it's suddenly bad. It was okay I believe it, then I love you. I was like what the heck! __________________

Holy ****. So much must get lost. But while it might work for PLL I can say base don what you said why it wouldn't work for that show. There needs to be build up and it doesn't seem like an hour (or however long it was) was enough.

Yeah a lot of shows always have done pairing that's "epic" from the very beginning when they first meet. Anytime I've ever had someone tell me they are in love with me shortly after we met I get very suspicious

My thought process for tv shows is if they are dating already more often than not they will break up soon and they probably aren't the "it" couple of the show. I remember thinking this during the pilot of Glee for Finn/Quinn.

That is exactly my way of looking at shows, the couples that are already together are doomed as far as I'm assuming
