Alexa, I really think he has but I have such a soft spot for him so I might be a bit biased.

I'm just glad he hasn't changed too much but I think we've discussed how he's still the humour in the show.

Yeah, you're right, he hasn't changed too much. I hate when shows do that, they try to drastically and suddenly alter a character to either become more or less likable (and I feel this show has done it in a few circumstances, but not many). If change is going to happen, it should happen in a way that feels real and natural, not forced. And I think it has felt real and natural with John Murphy.
