^ Me too. I had oral surgery yesterday afternoon so unfortunately I couldn't watch the episode without gauze in my mouth or eat good food instead of the soft stuff I'm stuck with for the next few days, lol.

Okay guys, did I miss a line somewhere? I've read in two recaps and in several posts (not here, I don't think, but possibly) that Madi recognized Bellamy from Clarke's drawings. I assumed she "recognized" him because he was obviously the leader of this small, peaceful group who just came from space -- a small, peaceful group obviously matching the description of Clarke's space friends Madi has been hearing about for over six years now.

Did you not see Clarke's Bellamy drawings? They were in the season trailer.

I loved that Bellamy, despite his eagerness to get down to his sister, was immediately willing to be the one to stay behind. Strange to say, but there’s a definite Season 1 Jaha parallel there.

I've also thought of the Jaha S1 parallel, but in relation to Raven, not to Bellamy

Jaha has surprised Kane and Abby in S1 with going back and start the Ark landing manually

Raven has surprised here with her lie about the escape pod ... and she stays in space

Bellamy was more like Kane in S1 who was ready to stay in space, but then Jaha was first

Basically every scene with Emori, Murphy choosing to stay behind with Raven, Raven and Bellamy's banter. Seriosuly, there are so many good scenes to choose from in this episode

Oh I know that Clarke had shown Madi drawings of Bellamy (and all of them) I was just wondering if I missed a line where Madi specifically said she recognized Bellamy from the drawings. (Mostly because people on "the other board" are calling BS that she recognized him in the dark and from six years younger, blah blah blah. ) I just figured Madi's not stupid, she's perfectly capable of putting two and two together and figuring out who this new group is, and that the one stepping forward as the leader is the guy Clarke's been talking to/about for six freaking years.
