And yes, I hope season five gives her constant reasons to smile.

I don't think there was ever any solid proof that Lindsey even auditioned for Batgirl or anything, so I think it was more fans just wishing and projecting. It would be amazing, though!

Hopefully season 5 will be better for her. Maybe she even managed to recover a bit during the 6 years in space.

I’ll be really sad if she doesn’t have her brace, actually. It’s part of who she is, and it’s great representation of disabilities on TV.

Yeah, I'm torn on this. I want her to feel better and if that means that she's able to do without the brace, that's great ... but like you said, she represents a disabled character on TV and that is something so important ... since we see her thrive despite that and not be held back by her disabilities.

Yeah, I wouldn't want Raven to miraculously recover. Lindsey often speaks about how important the depiction of Raven's disability is to viewers who don't often see themselves reflected on TV or at least not in a meaningful way.

True, Lindsey mentioned how she injured her hips because of the brace. Maybe they could use one that isn't as damaging to her?

Oh, I definitely hope they found a more comfortable one for Lindsey to use! Even if the brace doesn't bother, it's probably uncomfortable for her to have to walk with an uneven gait so often
