He was from the Ark but his part of the Ark landed in Ice Nation territory, so they got captured and forced into slavery. But they only introduced him in season 4 and everybody we knew from day 1 went: OMG, look it's Riley and it was just so ott bc he was never mentioned before, so they basically came up with a new character from the Ark and made it seem like if it was obvious who he was.

Haha OK, then I haven’t been “introduced” to him yet, because I’m still on season 3.

I’ve had that happen on other shows I watch, where they introduce a new character and act like the character’s existed the whole time.

I don't really mind if it happens because it's standard to introduce characters from someone's past, especially in later seasons but it was just so ridiculously written (you'll see for yourself if you reach that episode).
