I agree with those parts, at least

Murphy and Emori are very honest with each other and do work really well together.

That’s true! That’s one of the reasons I think they work so well together. They both know what the other is like, so they don’t have to hide who they are from each other.

Absolutely.

It's 100% honesty between them because they trust each other, and they see so much of themselves in each other.

I think it's really cool that they both accept each other for who they are, but still manage to improve each other. It's not that either one of them is nagging the other to be a better person or scolding them when they do something wrong or anything like that. But their relationship has caused them to naturally improve themselves.

Did that make sense? It made sense in my head

That makes total sense to me too, Marie.

It's not a typical situation where one of them expects the other to change, just that they do because it's just a natural evolution of their relationship.
