Yeah, Murphy is such a survivor I would be shocked if he wasn't still alive at the end of the series. I honestly would give him better odds at surviving than probably anybody else on the show, including Clarke

Yeah, Murphy did not make a good first impression. I think he started to win me over in season 3

It's interesting how some people love Murphy now, some people still don't, and some people are slowly growing to like him. That must mean that he's a very dynamic character.
Season two was when I became a fan. First it was his conversation with Raven that intrigued me, and then when he actually held onto Bellamy in 2x04 . . . you save my man, you're okay in my book. (Not really, but . . . anyway, that's how it started, and then I loved all his sassy, snarky quotes.) |

Yeah, he's definitely an interesting character. I'm never sure if he'll do the right thing or not, which intrigues me about him.
I think his relationship with Emori went a long way to changing my mind about him. Watching his scenes with her in season 3 I was kind of surprised that he was actually capable of genuinely caring about another human being, but it was cool to see. I also like that I don't feel like they've forced a redemption arc on him. He's definitely improved as far as his ability to be a moral person, but he's still capable of being very selfish, and I think he's always going to have that quality to him. Which I like, because it wouldn't make sense if all the characters were trying to be heroes all the time or all of the 'bad' characters always had a full redemption arc. |

season 2 for me as well, I already loved his snark in the beginning but those scenes in 204, nahhhhh it was over.

Marie, I agree, they haven't forced a redemption arc on him. It's kind of just . . . happened through the natural evolution of his character.
