Yay, 3x07 Murphy! He was my favorite part about that episode. I thought it was the flashbacks, but when I rewatched recently, I was like, "Nah, it's Murphy."

Even though I wish Murphy hadn't been quite as isolated from the others in season 3, I do tend to enjoy Polis much more once he's the one anchoring that storyline. It's just fun to watch him navigate all that political turbulence with his cockroach-y ways.

It really was, in all seriousness. Murphy has a more political/survival mindset than some of the others so it makes sense that he'd be more savvy in navigating the political turbulence/complexities in Polis.

He doesn't get nearly enough credit for being so damn smart. I was watching some of those episodes last night and thinking, "Oh my god, how did Murphy finagle a position as the Flame Keeper?" It's just crazy how savvy and quick-thinking he is.
