It feels like an eternity ago, truly. But season 1 is truly special because of the delinquent dynamic coming through strongly. Unfortunately, the show lost that message along the way.

I wish that they had played Radioactive in the series finale ... as an ode to the delinquents but also, it wouldn’t feel the same with half the originals being gone, especially Bellamy, Monty and Jasper.

It would have been great but there wasn't a fitting scene for it tbh. The U2 song was fitting for that last scene, as cheesy as it was.

Yeah, maybe it seems better in context but I also saw some people saying that it didn't fit well.

being on this thread made me realize how much I miss the original delinquents, and how sad it was that none except a handful even got to the end

It made me realize how much I miss S1, and wish I can turn the clocks back just to experience it all over with all the delinquents once again.

God, same. You have no idea, the exhilaration and pure joy of watching the delinquent scenes ... I’m just sad that it’s devolved into this. That’s the same reason why I can’t bring myself to watch old delinquent videos because it’s still too painful.

What a different show it was back then. And we ended the show with 5 delinquents alive.

The delinquent relationships were truly one of the best parts of the show, and most of them are gone now.

They could have shown us flashbacks to the ones who have died, at least. Or just honour them in some way in the series finale.
