Love that gifset of Clarke in the Pilot. Everyone mostly looked younger and different in that. I take it Pilots get filmed way ahead before the rest of the season? I get that feeling anyways from some shows and their Pilot episode.

I think that it's typically a gap of at least a few months?

Most of the time pilots are filmed in April and the rest of the series doesn't go into production until July.
