Looking at those gifs all I can think of is the intense emotion Bellamy was feeling in each instance. The first moment holding newborn Octavia? Sow sweet and tender. The sudden rush of emotion for a baby that has only been alive moments can be a bit overwhelming. To, in an instant, love someone with everything you are is incredible. And then flash forward 17 years to believing that same person is dead but then to hold her in your arms again? As she's broken and vulnerable needing her big brother once again? That's powerful stuff right there. __________________
