TBH, I actually thought that the emotional impact of Bellamy's breakdown (when he thought that Octavia was dead) was a bit lost because we knew that she wasn't almost right away, and he found out in the next episode so it was fairly quick.

But at the same time, I was relieved that he did because poor guy was so heartbroken.

Oh, then I'm not alone with that opinion ... sorry Bob... probably Bob got the instructions to act like he did, but he did't convince me with that scene ... I found it a bit overdone and overacted ... if I were a director, I would let him more cry and wouldn't let him scream so much ... the overdone screams made this scene not trustworthy for me

I actually felt that the breakdown was a bit much too, but somehow, just Bellamy reacting that way to the news ... it's enough to tug at the heartstrings.

More crying would have probably felt more realistic to me too.

I really enjoyed Bob's acting for the breakdown. I just didn't like the way it was shot and the music that was set to it.

It did not tug my feels like it could have

I didn't want to see it while they were still at odds, cause I didn't want something like that to be the reason that Octavia would change her attitude. But now, yes, I'd like to see it.

On the other hand though,

No more dead people for Octavia, not even if it's not real

I feel that way too, mostly.

They're in a much better place now, definitely wouldn't want to see it during season 3.

I would've hated it so much if something like that would've been the thing that would have her like a big realization. I'm really happy they didn't do that
