^ Yeah, I always see it more like that than a traditional friendship. But I do feel like the relationship has become more even over time.

I see it as a teacher/student relationship too.

But that over time, it'll probably be more balanced so it'll be more of a mother/daughter relationship? Wonder how Gaia will feel about that, if she's still on the show.

I think Gaia was a bit jealous of their relationship. I think Octavia was kind of a substitute daughter to her since she had a strained relationship with Gaia.

I definitely sensed some jealousy too.

It seems like Indra/Gaia loved each other but never quite shared the same goals ... in comparison, Indra/Octavia seems to have a more similar mindset so I'm sure that is not the easiest to accept.

Yeah, Indra definitely didn't seem happy that Gaia chose to be a flamekeeper. And I can imagine it would be tough for Gaia to see another girl in the role her mother wanted her to be in

Hopefully, Indra will have a better relationship with Gaia in the bunker too but I find it hard to see, unless both of them change their way of thinking. At least a little.

Rewatching 2X14, aww the start of Octindra mentorship. They were babies then.
