Jake is not on my list because it was hard to lose him ... he's on my list because of the scene when he gets floated ... his good bye scene with Clarke and Abby, especially with Clarke, has hit me hard ... Eliza's acting was amazing in this scene IMO and I'm a very empathic person ... if the acting is good, I can feel what the characters feel ... that's the reason why this show makes me cry so often

Day 23: Most Tearful Death

Jasper wasn't one of my favorite characters (though I did like him) and I saw his death coming from about a mile away, but that didn't stop me from bawling like a baby during his final scene. Here is a list of reasons why I cried a bunch at his death:

1. He was an original delinquent who survived almost four seasons
2. He started out as one of the happiest characters on the show and ended up taking his own life. I think as a whole, he's had the saddest storyline because he never truly recovered from his trauma on the ground
3. I had the house to myself during that episode so there was no embarrassment factor to prevent me from ugly crying while yelling at my tv screen
4. My precious Monty lost his best friend

I love your reasons, Marie ... Jasper's death did hit me more than I expected because like you said, it's pretty tragic if you think of the circumstances of his life on Earth and how he never recovered from that. And reason 4 probably plays a lot into why his death was painful to me too.

Most Surprising Death

ROAN



This one was a no-brainer for me. I had no idea Roan would die. In fact, I thought
he and Octavia would somehow win the conclave together or something. I liked him.
He might not be in my Top 10 Characters, but he was a decent and reasonable king.
Zach’s name was in the opening credits (despite being spelled wrong in 4x01). I’d
just met him and talked to him and saw him with Lindsey and Eliza, and I just . . .
I just thought he would stick around. I had that sense about him. I was so wrong.
This really makes me wish I’d gotten a photo with him. I don’t know why I didn’t.

Good choice, April. I was definitely surprised by how quickly he died too ... he might be my pick as well. Zach being a regular threw me off ... I really expected him to have more scenes or at least not die so soon.
