Totally agree. Some of it is the Bob/Eliza chemistry and I get that chemistry is subjective but with these two the chemistry is so powerful it hits you. Jason has to know their scenes feel romantic, not platonic. If he had such a problem with it, he might even tell them to tone it down or even start inserting lines that spell out being platonic. But he doesn't go there. Yes, he loves baiting/teasing but I think there's a part of him that realizes should he officially go with them romantically, he knows damn well the signs have been there since day 1.

No clue, Kate. To me, it’s apparent that they’re not written in a platonic manner but whether it’s pure baiting or TPTB really intends to go there one day ... that is something else altogether.

And I agree, Michelle. If they wanted Bellarke to come off as friends, it could easily be written as such and the direction to Beliza would be to nix the heart eyes and lingering glances ... but they didn’t. And you changed your UN! I like it.

Completely agree about Bob's and EJ's chemistry. Off the charts. They give me goosebumps in some scenes


Whether it's simply baiting or not, there are too many deliberate choices for bellarke to be an "accident". The fades, the music, the close-ups, the looks to each other when the other is not looking, etc etc


What would be the point of baiting though exactly? They must know that bellarkers make a good size chunk of the viewing audience. And moreover are strong on social media, which brings attention to the show...


And narratively, from all we've seen, if they do NOT get together eventually, it would be weird (well disappointing as all get out).
