ETA: still shocked by the whole christina grimmie thing. When I went to sleep, she was still in critical conditions. So sad... Why the ****???? I don't get it, seriously! All the time!!! They shoot a few times or more, then shoot themselves. What kind of illness is that???? You're gonna die anyway, dude, so don't screw it up for other people yeah, I get it, they're generally mad at everyone and want revenge or whatever, but still, it gets me so mad...

Reposting my question, but if you're like me, your brain is too mushy to answer it right now:

Which 5 scenes (for Bob) and which 5 scenes (for Eliza) do you think showcased their strongest acting in the entire series so far? It could be scenes with each other, or scenes with others, or on their own. Thoughts?

Which 5 scenes (for Bob) and which 5 scenes (for Eliza) do you think showcased their strongest acting in the entire series so far? It could be scenes with each other, or scenes with others, or on their own. Thoughts?

For Bob,
1x08 - "I'm a monster."
1x15? - his speech saying that they are grounders.
2x16 - Bellamy and Clarke's goodbye.
3x02 - the entire episode. the body language, the eyes.
3x03 - that conversation with Clarke. Again with his eyes.
3x05? - where bellamy and clarke reunited. Bellamy was allowed to be angry. I can't. His eyes. again with his eyes.
3x13? - "Clarke, I lost her.....Forgiveness is hard for us. I was angry with you leaving. I don't want to feel that way anymore."
3x16 - his conversation pike. Him wanting to believe they were the good guys and the grounders are the bad guys. now he get to live with it.

It's more than 5 and mostly from season 3 and it's mostly with clarke. I'm not sorry about it. i'm pretty sure i forgot some.

Yeah, Adie, I was like, Hmm, that looks like more than five! Who can blame you, though? The guy's the best actor on the show (in my opinion, anyway).

And hey, if you feel like most of his best work is done in his scenes with Eliza . . . that says something. About their chemistry.

For Eliza,
s1 - the moment she was talking to her mom about her turning her dad in, the scene with her dad in day trip, 1x16 with the whole lever, he's killing him and coming out to see the ashes and bodies in the ground thinking she killed bellamy and finn.
s2- 2x01 with trying to escape?, bellamy and clarke's hug her face is like she's home, Finn's death and after like the blood on her hands, Abby and Clarke's argument when Abby was trying to compare what she did with Clarke's dad to Finn, Clarke's talking with the ghost of Finn in front of everyone, 2x16 trying to be the good guy and bellamy and clarke's goodbye. Basically the whole 2x16.
s3 - when Clarke woke up from a nightmare, the whole scene with Bellamy in 3x02, Clarke holding a knife to Lexa and looking like she's someone who's barely 18 and only been on earth for few several months and have many blood on her hands. Lexa's death scene, when speaking to Raven/Allie about frying, her closure scene with Lexa in 3x16 and i'm sure I'm forgetting lots of moments.

Oh i'm getting a brain fart.

I ask the question, and then I can't even formulate my answer. I mean, certain ones do jump out at me, but most of them are Bellarke scenes, and I know they've both done some amazing work with other actors on the show, too. I just haven't SEEN those scenes as much.
