Though it’s still beyond me how they’re going to address the shift in the Becho relationship, fix things between Bellarke and set something up for the next season in less than 45 minutes. Sigh.

I do agree that it’s hard to make out exactly what we are supposed to read in his expression there (and Bellarkers are probably reading too much into it

) but I do think that we are supposed to see something in his expression nonetheless.

I don’t think they will address all of that. At least not the first one you mentioned anyway, Sarah, unfortunately. But I think you’re right that we’re supposed to see something in his expression.

I know we can be critical of Jason (rightfully so) at times, but the man does know how to write a great finale. He’s done it time and time again.

I think 100% Bellarkers are reading too much into it...maybe this is just one time Bob wasn't good at acting

I doubt that, though. Bob is such an excellent facial actor. He can convey a look of hope if they want him to convey a look of hope. We might be reading into it a little too much, but I definitely think something was altered for some reason.

I guess a smile of some sort would have looked more hopeful?? He looked more disturbed, which was weird tbh. So I don't know if he's having doubts, but I think the thing Sarah posted on the last page is a bit of a stretch from the one look we saw.

I just want these two to be together in the finale, even in the same room

Is that too much to ask for!

I think that there’s a point made that he had just seen his sister almost die so of course he won’t be happy there, but I do think that if it was meant to convey hope, that didn’t come across at all. A half smile conveying relief would have been more appropriate there, probably. And Bob has always done subtle expressions but that was literally one of no expression so it was a bit odd?? Plus, it was the first time seeing Echo in what, weeks and he barely has a response? I actually agree that the person’s tweet is reading too much into it, Lisa

... but yeah, I still think that was a weird reaction to seeing your GF for the first time in ages especially when you both just almost died.

I agree, people are reading too much into that one look. But it is also true that he did not see Echo in ages (show time anyway), so I am attributing the look more to the dramatic almost-losing-my-sister-right-after-I-told-her-I'd-be-ok-with-her-dying moment LOL

Honestly, that whole Rover scene was a little odd to me so I'm just not going to read too much into it.

I've learned to not over-analyze a lot of the scenes on this show...because I feel like we as fans often come up with much more intricate (and better imo) developments than the writers do.

We've got a lot of ground to cover in the finale, but I have absolutely no doubt that Bellamy and Clarke are going to have at least one incredible scene together.

There's been so much build up, and I feel like the set-up of everyone trying to get to the ship is going to bring up a ton of existing trauma for the both of them.
