Yeah, Cate is lying and keeping secrets, too. (once more in the premiere about what she was doing when she went to see Baze in the park). That's why I'm hoping that Cate will remember how patient, understanding, and forgiving Ryan has been with her - and try to do the same for him. It will be hard for her to accept if she discovers that he is not quite the guy she thought he was, though.

I don't like that he lied, but he's still a great guy. I can't see him cheating or doing anything really bad. I guess his lie is just giving Cate a taste of her own medicine. Maybe she'll see how it feels. Both Cate and Lux could stand to learn a lesson about lying. I actually don't envision Cate handling it very gracefully, and it will make me think she's a hypocrite...again. She'll have expected Ryan to understand and forgive her and then I can totally see her freaking out if she finds out he lied to her. I love Cate, but she can be a huge hypocrite

Ya exactly what Im hoping. She needs to remember how many times Ryan has been understanding with her. She's always thought that Ryan was better than her and she might find out that's not true and I don't know how she will deal with it

Ryan continues to watch Cate's back......especially when he showed up at Career Day. She should appreciate him more......but I understand she is hurt by being fired.

I am curious about JULIA.....maybe we'll learn more about her next time.

Ya he does continue to watch out for her. I knew she would be mad about him not quitting when she was fired but listening to his reasoning made sense. Lux needs some adult in her life to be working. He was thinking about Lux in all of this. Its just to sweet. I hate that he's being so good right now when I know that he's hiding something!

I'm hoping its not something too terrible They've done such a good job to balance out the love triangle that it'll be a bummer if I feel like I hate Ryan at some point. But you know what, I'm glad they have something like this coming. There are people that are quite upset about Ryan's secrecy and what t means for his character but I'm loving that they're going to make him for human - flaws, secrets, and all. It's what I've always wanted to see.

Ya I love that they are making him seem more human with flaws and all that but I just don't want to hate him in the end. I love Ryan so much and it makes the triangle so enjoyable to love both of the guys so it would ruin that for me if they made him really bad

I doubt Liz wants to go that route. It seems like this show is all about rejection and failing but coming back from it all. It's got that redemption theme to it.

I did too but I couldn't stay away so I watched episodes here and there. He looks so freaking young! And then I looked at the year that episode aired and its 2004. He's meatier now, I like it

I loved the promo for #2-3. Ryan's facial expressions and eyes are just priceless. I'm referring to the "banana" bread scene. He doesn't even have to say anything to let us know what he is thinking.

I love when he threw things at the glass to get Cate's attention Even though he was concerned for Cate, he's acted like this was nothing new and was a pro at handling/recognizing his sister's wild ways.

Hopefully we get some more interaction between Ryan and Paige, it's SERIOUSLY lacking.

By the way, you guys know my tactics for trying to reel in new viewers, right? Well, I was thinking of opening a Kerr Smith thread on the Male Celebrities board...turns out there's already one! Mind distributing some posts between here and there to spread the LUX word?
