I have a soft spot for Lux being concerned about Cate and Ryan. When the episode originally aired, I missed the part where Cate and Lux were sitting in the kitchen and Lux asks "But you and Ryan are going to be okay, right?" and Cate's "We are going to be fine." At first I didn't think they talked about it at all but now that I caught that part I'm really glad they did that. It was perfect. It doesn't ignore that Lux considers him an important part of her family, too.

Ya Lux does consider Ryan to be an important part of the family and she knows that Cate loves him so she doesn't want to see them fighting. You could tell she was really concerned with what was going to happen next for them

Exactly, I love that they put that in there. The first time around I didn't catch it but during my rewatch I honestly felt relieved, They've kind of distanced Ryan and Lux this season and I'm glad they took notice of her concern for this moment.

Ya I was really glad that they had that in there. To show that Cate isn't alone and also that Lux still does care even if she hasn't shown it much this season

Yeah, I enjoyed seeing Lux show care and concern for CR - especially after the distance Lux has had from Ryan this season. She loves them both, and they are both her family. She doesn't want to see them hurting. I also think she feels kind of responsible for their relationship/marriage, since she was the one who essentially told Cate to marry Ryan when she was having doubts. If they aren't able to work things out, Lux might feel to blame.

Ya that makes sense as well Keri, she did push Cate towards marrying Ryan so if Cate ends up getting hurt in the end Lux may feel pretty bad about it.

Yeah I think she'll feel a little guilty if either Cate or Ryan gets hurt in the end - even if it's not really her fault.

Just to think, if Lux went with her gut feeling (putting CB aside)...CR would have postponed the wedding and they probably would have had more time to sort things out. Damn it Lux!
